no love for esp
why the hell are standard esps so hard to find. even musiciansfriend and samash barely have any. If you goto esp's site they have a couple different models, and none of them are easy to find. whats the deal

exactly, those are the only guitars that I can find (but finding them is rare too)
Im especially looking for the Standard Viper or the M2 Urban Camo. You would think these guitars would be more wide spread because theyre high quallity and a known brand name.
I found the Viper on samash's site, but I dont like the green camo look.

My MII Urban Camo is probably one of my favorite guitars, because of the playability. It is excellent.
But good luck getting one, because they've been discontinued.

Can't they order one for you? If they are dealers they should be able to get hold of any model, time depending on waiting lists etc, if they are popular models.
I guess you'll probably have to pay the RRP for it then though, deals are less likely if it's ordered in for you specifically, and I heard ESP's prices went up quite dramatically with the 2006 catalogue.

esp's are so hard to find and get beacuse they has real factory distribution issues.
so basicly, they promise a store x amount of guitar, but they only delivery a few, then the rest in little intervals. the reason is because they take a lot of time to make the guitars and then even more time to distribute them.
so yea, thhe store advertise the guitars but dont actually store them

Whats wrong with the high end LTD's? Just because it doesnt say ESP on the headstock doesnt mean that its a nice guitar.

I lucked out. one of the better music stores back where I used to live (and will live once again) was a full-on ESP dealer who had the exact model i wanted in stock when I went to put in my order (it wasn't left-handed or OFR'd, but it was still the same damn model). that was my second axe, and my first one had been a genuine Fender Strat. you ever try playing Cannibal Corpse on a goddamn Stratocaster?!
my ESP was a godsend -- an expensive godsend, but a godsend nonetheless.

ESP needs to make a King V and a Rhoads V with floyd rose bridges and EMG pickups. Then I'd consider buying from them. Until then, I'll stick to Jacksons.

Stick to Jackson then, what would be the point of ESP making an exact same guitar as the ones Jackson does. Also, they'd get sued if they did.
