That weird Trill thing that I can't quite do
Not sure if you guys have any idea what Im talking about, but the guys in Cannibal Corpse love to do it.
Its the kind of Trill you do with your first finger and your pinky, like in the songs "Staring through the Eyes of the Dead" opener Riff and "Centuries of Torment" Opener Riff.
Any tips on how to pull it off right? Whenever I try, my wrist immediately goes stiff and I end up screwing quickly.

its called a minor third trill, and it comes with practice.
learn unleashing the bloodthirsty...lots of those trills in there.

then eventually you can trill it with your pick and stuff for fucking fast shit. But learn to walk before you run.
Staring through the Eyes of the Dead was the first song I learnt with that in it.

I love that minor third trill. Esp when you play it then drop down a half step. It's a very chromatic type thing, lots of applications. Work with your pinkie. That's usually most ppls weakness with that.

strengthen up your pinky aswell to excersices like this
4-3-4-2-4-1 (4 being fretted with your pinky) and go up and back down all the strings with it

if it starts going stiff, try stretching out before u play. otherwise just keep working on it. start slow then build up speed, try doing smaller stretches as well.

Yeah, learning that song would make it quite easy, and it's a fun song to play too.
On a sidenote, I think the same type of trill that you're talking about is part of the chorus of Hammer Smashed Face, which will give you another song to learn, but the trill itself is slower in that song, so it'll be good for practice until you can do it faster.

another good exercise for m3 trills is to pull shit like 0h5h8-0h4h7-0h3h6 (h's being hammer-ons, of course) all over the fretboard. it'll give your pinky a workout, it sounds badass when played as fast as humanly possible (after you've gotten good with it by practicing slow), and it makes a good fill for almost any brutal occasion.
