My ears hurt
Just went to the "Summer Metal Massacre".
My opinion......satisfied. Not that happy, and not pissed......just about what i expected....maybe a tad less.
The bands:
Vanquished - they were shit. As some of you may know, i'm not a fan of Black Metal.....so there's one reason why they sucked. The second, every song was the same.
Agiel - Pretty fucking cool. Guitar player was one of the most talented mother fuckers i've ever seen in my life. Very sweet show.
December - If it wasn't for the gory vocals, i would classify them as nu-metal with talent. So.....GARBAGE MOST!!!!!!!!!!
Cephalic Carnage - Pretty fucking cool. Two problems though: 1. the bass guitar was way too loud.....couldn't hear riffs, vocals or drums....only big loud deep noise. 2. because of the loudness of the bass, he blew the amp. So about 2/3 of the concert was without a basist.
No really hot chicks to look at either. I had one beer only......so i wasn't drunk at all. Work killed my knees, so i could barely stand for the concert. So overall.....i was "satisfied".

This band has Tim Yeung on drums which you may remember as the guy who drummed on the first Hate Eternal record.

Erik Rutan's band. The guitarplayer from Morbid Angel. There's topics about them in the bands section.

I know little of them, and i've heard only one song.
I think it sounds way too much like Morbid Angel (no surprise really). I'm not saying it sucks....but i've kind of grown out of the MA sound.

slayer kicked fuckin ass. heres how the night went...
got there, walked to taco bell and ate, didnt look at the time, walked back to the tabernacle, heard "behind space" by in flames playing. i was pissed off cause i wanted to see them. we made it inside to hear about 5 more in flames songs. they were good. soulfly came out, and were a lot better than i expected. their new cd is awesome, they played a lot from that. also, they did a tribal jam, and "roots bloody roots" and "refuse/resist" (sepultura songs). they had a fun as hell pit. finally, slayer came out. they played darkness of christ (intro), disciple, war ensemble, god send death, spill the blood, postmortem/raining blood (like it is on the cd), hell awaits, dead skin mask, at dawn they sleep, stain of mind, haunting the chapel, the antichrist, seasons in the abyss, mandatory suicide, chemical warfare, south of heaven, and angel of death. probably some others too. great pit also. very good show!!

I bought the Agiel album last weekend along with the new Nile.
Agiel is pretty cool,it's kinda like Emperor goes deathmetal or something.

The guitar player is brilliant. He wears his strap really high, but holy shit can he ever rip.
I might get something of theirs in the future.....not sure about it though. Wasn't a huge fan of the music, just the solos and guitar playing.

It is very easy to "upset" the delicate skin inside your ear. And when you do it can hurt so much!
I think you should leave it alone - don't rub or q-tip anymore for now.
You might have a little fungal infection that is very common and not a big deal - its called Swimmer's Ear but you can get it just from the water from showering, etc.
There are drops for that but if you read its ingredients it is just rubbing alcohol with a little glycerine.
You could try dropping a tiny bit of alcohol in - it might burn.
This will probably heal itself in 2 days.
