Sheet Music Requests
If anyone wants drum music to be notated, I'll be happy to look at requests and put them in sheet music format. Someone mentioned some interest in seeing metal sheet music, so here's the thread. I can only do drums, but if any guitarists want to hop on board, we can do sheet metal for guitar as well.
Sticky maybe? May not need to be.
Request away.

Please dont type in all caps again and actually next time provide a basis for your arguments.
The advantages of sheet music, for people who can read it, far outweigh shitty text tabs. I advise everyone to try learning to read sheet music anyway.
I use sheet music to translate ideas from guitar to other instruments, for example, my violinist. Tab is a simplistic form of notation.
Edit: OP, is this what youd have in mind for guitar notation (At least?)
Im not sure about having tab written below. It takes up too much space, and would be obsolete if you could just note down the pitch of harmonics, too (which admittedly takes a while.)
As far as multi instruments go, I guess youd have to have it in layers, probably-
Guitars
Bass
Drums
As, correct me if Im wrong, but I reckon that in metal, thats the hierarchy of instruments most often...
Anyway, it would indeed take a long time to do, but I think for certain songs, legendary songs, its helpful. I will post some songs in this format, that ive tabbed out, as I have to do this anyway for my band.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about. Whether or not you include the tab is up to you. Some may find the organized layout of sheet music + the ease of tab to be helpful, but most likely, it will make sense without the tab if they can read it at all.
And as far as doing multiple instruments for songs, we could do the parts all on one score, or as seperate files (which I was thinking). It would be nice to have scores for obvious reasons, but the individual parts might be a little more appealing for your average joe who wants just the guitar or drums. Although we could make both an option.
As you post songs, I'll be happy to try and notate those songs, thus at least having corresponding files. If you want to, we can make the score afterwards. Let me know your preference.
Oh, I also figured we could keep links to all the songs we do in our first posts within this thread, as a running list of what we currently have. Let me know how that sits with you.
