hey oldman, i was the boss of nollie flips
i once got one off a drop that was a foot lower than a usual loading dock. for some reason, my nollie flips were faster, and smoother than my kickflips. maybe cause my right foot was kicking it. anyway, it was great. why i didnt record the good stuff.... i have no clue. i think i said before, we were really into recording, when i first got the camera. then, after a while, we got tired of recording, but we were also getting better, so i didnt get footage of my best point in skating

How to skate in southwestern virginia

Finally i have posted it. It was supposed to go to this video festival but since the shootings happened they cancelled it.

So here it is, the demo and long teaser to the skate video we are currently filming.

Btw i'm Michael Cornwell haha. I'm the dumbass in the beginning that eats shit.

And you will notice me peppered throughout the video. I go really fast and i wear a black tshirt and blue jeans everytime. I also at times am blue jeans and shirtless.

I probably filmed about 1/3rd to 1/2 of the video and i edited the entire thing nearly myself with my friend Pat going back over it and changing things here and there.

One day........ one day.. Its been like 2 months and my hip is still kinda messed up. But then again i've fallen (not hard) on it at least 5 or 6 times since then. Just enough to really piss me off.

Bunny hops, 180s, etc.

I used to, but stopped a few years ago... the bmx is now in a rather rusty and sorry state at the end of the garden. I'd love to get another and get back into it, but where we live at the moment is only good for mountain biking.

My advice would be to get pegs all round, not just one side. Reason being that you then have more options open to you for grinds etc. and also for flatland stuff too- it's cool to be able to stand on the back pegs and (with the rear brake on), bunny hop on the rear wheel- you can go up stairs etc. like that

Get some shin pads for definite, and when you get into more advanced territories, get a full-face helmet, and you'll probably keep all your teeth and face in tact

yeap i skated for 4 years and then i just gave up, because at my size all i could do was basic tricks and it got boring. It was a fun time for a while though. Just cruising the streets all day long.
