F-spacing...
Quick question. Can a F-spaced neck pup work a non-tremolo guitar(in the neck pos)? I just need to know as I'm not sure wether I need to get rid of this F-spaced PAF pro I have and get a regular one.

F-spaced can be used in the neck pos on a nontrem guitar, but the pole pieces won't be perfectly aligned with the string. But it will still work since the magnet can still pick up the vibrations. But I believe that for optimal performance the NON fspaced PAF pro is better.

right, and with a pickup like an invader, since the pole pieces are so large, it doesnt matter even though they really arent ligned up with my trem.

I got a non f-spaced guitar with f-spaced pickups. Their off a centimeter or so. Still sounds just as good on a f-spaced trem.

That's about how far the outside strings are from the center of the pole pieces. Their about a strings width or 2 away. It's mainly the low E and high e, as they go towards the middle they line up more and more. It still sounds just as good as it did before on a f-spaced trem though. I can't tell any difference at all.
