Just thinking
Just a thought during work today.
A jigsaw puzzle
Spread out before me
It was broken to pieces
But from the various images I could decipher
The components of the full picture
Waves on the sea, sand on the shore, stars in the sky
Making me ask
What is the sum of pieces
Smaller, the same or greater
Making me wonder
What is it that it could show
What is it that it know
I walked along a shore line
And indeed, there were the pieces of my puzzle
The sea, a myriad of waves
The sand, countless grains
The sky, an infinte of stars
And behind the gaze
A complex of connections outnumbering by far
The waves on the sea, the sand on the shore, the stars in the sky
Making me wonder
What is it that I should know?

I liked the way the puzzle in pieces became a bigger puzzle of earth and then the universe. Cool idea. Glad you shared it.

Thanks and you're welcome, in no particular order. Say, wouldn't this "thing-within-thing"... thing be something for Unanything to sink his teeth in?
Jopphejdi, I think I managed some sort of alliteration there. Kind of thing.
