Tabs made easy
What is an easier way for me to make text tabs? I don't want to bother with any guitar pro or Power tab. Thats too many things to worry about. Just simple TEXT!

Use the template here. Go to SUBMIT A TAB and you can get the template.
If you do have Powertabs you can do the tab in there ansd export the tab as text with perfect formatting.

kool, i might try doing that, i used to write out the whole tab just in microsoft word, it took ages!!

Do it on note pad man. Text pad, Word pad, Note pad, whatever you have use that. NOT USE MICROSOFT WORD OR MICROSOFT ANYTHING.

You should never use anything other than notepad to do tabs.

Notepad is just irritating formatting everything IMO.
I much prefer tabbing in Powertab.

Its the easiest in Notepad; copy and paste the tab lines, press Insert on your keyboard, and you're off! No pain in the ass formatting

meh, powertab is awesome, but I use so much longer time writing pts. The mass obliteration tab I did in it, I could have finished a weak before if I didn`t do it in pt  I guess I`ll work faster with it when I get better though. |
