Just thought I'd share my newly acquired bass I got. A friend of mine bought it off a dude he works. I paid $100 for it. Check it out. It's a Samick Greg Bennett Series bass. It has a quilted maple top and active pickups. It plays really smooth and sounds awesome. I'm so freakin stoked it only cost a bill. I can't find a retail price on it anywhere, nor can I find a model number anywhere on the bass. The serial number is not readable (damaged? possibly hot?), but I'm not bitching. Lemme know what you think, and what you've heard about these, comments, anything! Thanks!

im not fond of the body style, but for 100 dollars it looks amazing. Needs new strings badly from the looks of it, though.

My strings are looking worse than that, the highest string is like black.
Do you think i should clean it with that denatured alcohol stuff everyone recommends? Would i have to remove strings for that?

Can't argue for 100 bones man. I would've bought it, just to fuck around with since my bass is 2500 miles away in Ohio

The Ibanez 6 string guitar that I have doesn't have a serial number or model number that I've seen anywhere on it, but I bought it from a guitar shop so I know it's not hot, and I haven't had any problems with it, so I wouldn't worry about it not having that shit on it.

i would also recommend shelling out the 10-20 bucks for new strings, youll be amazed at the difference. as for the samick, congrats, you got an underrated bass at a bargain price. happy low-ending!
