Doktorskell, you will need a load-box on your speaker outs so your power transformer wont blow and a speaker simulator on your line out/effect send to cut off all the freq above and below the typical guitar frequencies so you can run it to the PA.. But you could just aswell just buy a POD straight to the PA instead of the amp head and will most likely sound better aswell..
The thing with guitarspeakers is that they are midrange speakers which acts like "filters" in a natural way from all the high frequencies (everything above 6 khz or so)
PA speakers however are typically just a horn and bass, which will let every single high freq out of your distorted signal come out, and it just sounds like a chainsaw, therefor you will need a guitarspeaker simulator or mic up your guitarspeaker to run guitar thru a PA.. IMO, bring your 4x12
