candlemass
i never payed much attention to them mainly because i only had a couple of songs laying around on my C: but a friend game me his copy of Ancient Dreams and i'm addicted. i just can't stop listening (Epistle No. 8 is the textbook example of slow and brutal).
can anyone recommend other Candlemass albums?

Nightfall is probably my favorite, though the self-titled and Tales of Creation are pretty good. Epicus Doomicus Metallicus isn't bad either, though I'm not partial to it.

Yeah, I'm partial to Nightfall as well, but I've got all the ones with Messiah and Epicus and you can't really go wrong with those.

Tales of Creation is my favorite. The songs are top notch, production is the best off of any album, even their new one (for their sound, I don't like the production on the new album). Ancient Dreams is my second favorite and Epicus Doomicus is third. Then check out Nightfall. Alot of people don't like their albums without Messiah but I think hes a great vocalist anyways. Worth checking out.
