that's just a rack system...not that hard if you know how to read.

And yeah there are a lot more complex ones. and a lot simpler ones. Some people just go guitar-amp-cab.

also all those effects are for giving different sounds or just to combine and give a common sound

actually i just came across it and wondered if motley crue needed these many effects then to get get the smooth distorted live sound similar number of effects were needed

Normally you can do just fine with.

Guitar --> Wireless unit --> Wireless Receiver --> Head -->
Effects Loop --> Cabinet

Thats what I do and it sounds pretty killer.
