Neckery
I got this buzzing at the 0 - 3 frets on my lower three strings and 3 - 9 frets on my higher three strings. I looked down the neck and I think I see a twisting of the neck. How can I solve this problem? I've already raised the bridge as to make the strings higher but the buzzing keeps returning.
What could be causing this? I use a pretty heavy gauge set of strings. 12 16 24 32 44 and 56 guage. I usually tune down to C# or C, never higher.
Any bit of info will help. Thanks!

Shit dude I actually have no ideal what to do about that kind of thing. I just pray and hope everyday that I will never have to either. It is a death sentence for a guitar to get a warped neck and only have one truss rod.
If its bolt-on then I would just replace the neck. Most guitars don't have double truss rods which would help fix this problem but also make it a pain to setup.

oh it can be fixed, but it may be more than you're willing to pay.
take it to a luthier and see what he says.

It could be that your nut is worn down. If this is the case, just put a tiny rolled up piece of paper in the corresponding nut slot. It's not a perfect solution, but it does minimise the buzz if you do it right.

Your neck might be fine, make sure the nut is ok,your truss might need to be tightened, and your action might just need more attention. The frets could be worn, also. What guitar is it,what kind of neck joint, and how old is it.Photos might help.

Yeah... Someone told me its the truss rod. The neck is bowing back. So should I tighten the truss rod or loosen it?

No, shouldn't you loosen it to have more relief? If you tighten it it will bend back even more.

Has you neck been any recent weather variations? Has it been subjected to humidity or water? It sounds like your neck might be warped in which case you should consult Martyr's Warp Zone for help.
But seriously. If wood becomes warped I don't know if it can ever be fixed.

You need to loosen you truss rod to fix a backbow.
Also give a 1/8 to 1/2 CCW turn to the bridge screw (the top one corresponding to EAD..) to raise your bridge a little bit. It shoud fix your problem.
If you can't do anything, bring it to a specialist
