Painting a guitar...

OK, I want to change the paint job on my main guitar to an urban camo paint design. Is this something I can safely do myself, and if not, how much should this cost to have done?

It costs a shitload to get custom paintjobs done for you.If you arent too attached to your guitar,then go for it yourself.Keep in mind,camo isnt a simple finish to do by yourself.

i think the best way to do it well but still relatively cheaply is to get it sprayed by a car sprayer.

my tutor has done it a few times and the finish looks as good as on any guitar, also if you do it yourself you run the risk of not layering the paint correctly.
