setting the EQ

ei guys!!
Man!! my amp sucks..i don't know how to EQ my tone..damn..
can anyone teach what to do with those things??!?!?!?

what kind of amp are you using? personally i like mine heavy on the lows for that real bassy sound with a little mid-range to make it pop out.

Depends on what tone you want, i usually put the Gain up, and set a nice level with the volume ( a low one ) then boost the mids, no presence, half treble and half bass.

i turn up bass all the way, 2 on treble, 2 on mids., lower volume around 4, and low highs like 1 or 2

well with a 3-band eq, i put bass on about 8 or so, mid on 4.5, and treble on 6.5. That along with some similar settings on my bass gives me a powerful sound with some minor punch to it.

sorry for posting on this oldish thread but theres not much newer ones to post on anyways

low lows hi highs and moddle mids

high gain with low volume and set to active.

My Low is at 6,Mid at 2.5 and treble on 3.5/4
