i was wondering how those SRX basses sounded. I own an SR505 and i love it - very smooth neck. I was also wondering how the 700's and 705's, etc. compared to the rest of them. I havent played an srx or any Ibanez bass in the 700 series. I would assume SRX's are more popular for metal and heavier rock?

The cheapest I've found one for in the UK is £399, anyone know of anywhere I can get one cheaper than that?

Also, how much approximately would it be to get a set of premium grade straplocks fitted?
