another effects thread
yes i know there have been threads like this but none realy answered my question.
ok im looking to fix up a lead sound. im thinking a little chorus, delay, little compression and maybe some others. all of those effects excluding the delay will be used fairly subtly. so should i go buy pedals or get a rack thing that has only those couple of effects but are very high quality? if i buy the pedals i wont buy shit ones, so after spending all the money on all the pedals will it be a better value to simply save for the multi? when i look at all the mutlis out there i see so much stuff that i wont use much or at all.

A rack system would be nice. Not as practical as pedals but nicer overall. Better sound. Though there are some really nice boutique pedals out there.

If you get a decent rackmount effects system, like a G major, and hook up a midi footcontroller, would be good.

or would this work better?
http://cgi.ebay.com/Lexicon-MX200-R...1QQcmdZViewItem
seems to be easyer to use because all the nobs on the front instead of patches.
EDIT: ok what is the best multi-effects rack processor for under 200 dollars. i see some yamahas, a couple of diff lexicons, alesis, art, digitec, and nady.
