To those that have bought a BCR neck...
Has anyone ever installed a Platinum or Bronze series neck into a NJ series guitar? Do they fit the neck heel pocket on a NJ? I have 3 good reasons to get a new neck for my Ironbird>
The headstock doesn't match(warlock headstock = bleh).
The frets are worn.
The neck is a bit bulky.
Are Bronze necks playable at all(thin and fast)? Would they fit my guitar? My current neck has a 43mm locking nut, would it be the same nut size on a Bronze neck?

I can't help you with specifications, but as far as necks go the bronze BC riches arn't that nice to play in my opinion, but bear in mind I think even high end strat necks feel grotty. Bronze series are called so because they're the budget ones and I think this is reflected in both the quality and the construction of the neck... Maybe it'd be worth the extra dosh to get an NJ one if you can try them out.
I'd seriously get first hand experience though rather than basing it just on other people's opinions as you'll get a wide range of them as people have different views. You don't want to end up sticking on a horrible playing neck on your axe, it's the kind of thing that puts me off playing an instreument completely if one aspect lets it down :/
Sorry that I havn't answered your questions, just strongly advising that you try to play the parts you intend on getting, to avoid future dissapointment. Imagine it in the sence of when you buy different strings that you dislike and you just can't seem to comfortably play, only a neck is a much greater problem in regards to cost and the time you'll be stuck with it...

Word. I think I should just wait for a NJ or USA neck to pop up on ebay and grab it. I don't want to risk getting a shitty neck, as well as one that won't fit the guitar. The bulkyness of mine is tolerable, I think I'm just too used to my thin-and-narrow Jackson JS30KE. I'll just get an NJ as those will fit for sure, I just want to get rid of these worn out frets and ugly ass headstock! Thanks.

I have a bronze warlock and i find the neck the best part. The nut is a bit sharp, but can be sanded. I remember philkilla saying BCR necks are some of the fastest he has ever played ... and he has a RAN ... pm him if you feel like it.
P.S. I love my BCR neck --- same cant be said for the paintjob, wood, construction and (my) shitty wiring job.

warmoth wont make you a neck, trust me i've tried. Get a bronze neck, sand it down, and refinish it. That will get you a decent feel to it. Make sure the frets arent fucked though.

they only make them to be fit to fenders. They will not under any circumstances fit the heel to any other kind of guitar. Sorry for being vague man, my bad.
