i had my emg-81 7 ordered from an official EMG dealer it took about 2 and half weeks...i love it...but yea FF has let me down twice...transgression was a big letdown...and just last tuesday i went to see them in hollywood...i drove 2 hours to hollywood only to get there and the show was cancelled....one of the guy's wives had a baby...i was pissed.....i love the u2 cover tho.

Got it today phil! My guitar tech is installing it over the weekend along with other adjustments the ESP needs. and about switching, yes, I am pretty sure you can since all the controls and cables are all universal for EMG anyway (at least for your application.)
one thing though,one EMG 81-7 I got a while ago didn't have a quick-connect...but if you are sure it has it...fuck it. It will work.

I got it from musicsolutionsstore.com, the dude there is really cool & hands on, i emailed him since there was no number to call & asked if he had the 81-7 in stock & he replyed with lightning speed & told me he had them. Then litarally 20 minutes after i bought it he emailed me back & said he shipped it out priority with shipping insurance & it will be there in 2 to 3 days. And ya mine has the quick connect so it should work if i ever want to switch them. I just got back from dropping my guitar off at my guitar techs shop so ill have it back by monday, which is pretty fast considering he has to route the body to make it fit. So it worked out pretty fuckin good! I offered that fuck on ebay $110 instant payment for his 81-7 to end the auction early since i couldnt find any at the time & the dude basiclly told me to fuck off. So now he'll get $75 for it & have to wait to get paid.  |
