Getting into different bands now, need suggestions
I started off liking melodic metal bands, and hell, I still do, but lately I've been getting more and more into straight death metal and more aggressive melodic death metal as well as the Gothenburg scene. I am wondering if you can point me in the direction of bands similar to:
Carcass
Entombed (Left Hand Path and Clandestine)
Arsis
Arch Enemy
Hypocrisy
At The Gates

Try some Finntroll if you haven't already. They probably don't fit your description of what you're looking for, but their music is pretty sexy.

I do have plenty of Finntroll in my collection. Good band, very unique. I'll try to get some songs from the above mentioned bands. I wish there were more Torrents of Vader available because I can't find any at the moment. And from what I've heard sample wise, I've really liked.

uhhh look around for mp3 sites. i found a site with vader stuff for free.i dont have the link, but it had black to the blind and live in 93 and such. it also had some good stuff like the dire straits too
vader sounds nothing like the bands you mentioned though man. and the new vader EP is their best ever i think, but Litany is second

I know Vader are different from the bands I mentioned. But they are pretty killer. Easily becoming one of the more favorite bands in my collection.

So far for Vader the only download I have been able to get is their new EP. Which kicks major ass so far.

Their best album.
I recommend you get Riders of the Apocalypse by Demonoid if you're into that kind of stuff.
