they still barely pick up a dime from cd sales...most of it goes to the label...the big seller for bands is t-shirts (100% profit) and touring, cds are a bullshit way for the labels to make a buck on the bands "advertising" you could say

mmm hmmm I buy a shirt everytime I go...or just about everytime...nice to have a little bit of a suvinior (however you spell it blah) from a concert.

That is true the label gets mostly all of the money, its not like death metal bands are platinum selling artists. They are lucky to pay for the bus on tour (if they have one).

I can see this turning into "Labels vs. Bands" thread #4564560923422340223498, however I'll remind you without paying the labels for the CD, they're not going to pay for band tours, therefore you won't be able to buy shirts and support the band.

Dude they saw it and didn't care. All they really care about are the "professional" cameras which are SLRs and shit. Only thing I get conserned with is breaking it i'm at a crazy concert...but if you are like a fucking wall you have no worries (especially in the front). So yeah just pull it out and if they say no cameras ask to check it. That is what happened with coats at some concert i went to (amon amarth i think). Probably do the same for the cam.

that's what i did with Hammerfall (check my site www.hamfriedchicken.com) to see it. The pictures don't come out nearly as clear (obviously). Much more chance for shitty. Like I can go through an entire came and come out with like 5 good shots...the rest are either blurry or to black...digital has a shitload more room (300+ shots i think?) yeah...

Yes. They kick ass. Huge Morbid Angel/Slayer influence, and one of my favorite bands. Decapitated got me into death metal, and I'm seeing them tonight with motherfuckin NILE.

The page isn't loading. Anyway, I did see Vader, Decapitated, Cryptopsy, and Suffo all in one show at NYC, and the Decapitated performance I went to was put on a DVD on their new "Organic Hallucinosis" album. Vader fucking RIPPED that time, but Decapitated weren't what I was expecting, mainly cause they played mostly songs from The Negation(which wasn't horrid, but nowhere near WoC or Nihility)
