the only thing i can figure is to wire it up to some 1/4 inch jacks.
if noone else helps us i will end up trying it next week.
my speakers are both 8 ohm so im wiring mine in parallel to make them 4 ohm.
http://www.colomar.com/Shavano/2x12wiring.html
try this link to see if you can get something out of it.
have you bought that stuff already or do you not have it yet?

external cab is to use an EXTRA cab with the combo, so you ould hook up an 4x12 in that socket (whatever its called)
is you have a fx loop, the fxlopp bypasses the PREAMP, but not the poweramp.
i think, maybe you should PM xdislexicx about this if he doesnt know none does

1. dont use the head without a load.
if you switch the head to standby, you may be able to use the fxloop send without having the poweramp on.
connect the fx send on the head to the fx return on the combo, and your set. perfect.
i wouldn't advise connecting it to the input, it might damage the combo, and it probably will sound rubbish.
if you cant do that then you will have to plug one of the speaker-outs into a cab, and i doubt that there's a speaker in on your combo.(socket which goes directly to the speakers, you know if you have one, cause it will work when the comboamp is off).
otherwise, rewire away.
repeat: dont use the head without a load.

you shouldn't mismatch ohms.
i read somewhere that SOME solidstate may be able to handle mismatching by one step.
db = decibel.
ohm = impediance
