Got this the other day. It is less raw than the older stuff (isn't everything?), the black metal elements are toned down and the symphonic parts are stronger - more clean vocals, more harmonies, different little elements here and there. Some may call it gay, I say fuck those people and call it progress. Fans of Evergrey should go all light in their shoes over this.
