Fretboard damage
ok so i got a 1 cm cut in the 3rd fret on the 4 string from some dumbass playing around with a sword, anyway it appears not to have affected it playing wise but could it somehow damage the neck or anything else?

no i was just standing there and my brother came in with his katana and just tried to attack me so i put the guitar infront of me (it took 1 for the team) and he cut 1 of the strings and left a little slash in the fretboard

Just sand the cut/slash a bit with sandpaper, and apply some lemon oil to it (rubbed on wet with a clean cloth, and leave it to dry/soak in, and then buff it off with a dry side of the cloth)
