Has anyone had any experience with VooDoo amp modifcations? They seem good, and it sounds like they can make your amp sound much better.

50 watt Blue Voodoo, i just think it would be fun to get it moded and it would be nice to remove some of that fuzz and get some more gain. I just thought it sounded like it would make the amp sound much better.

you're going to end up spending as much as the head is worth just for the mods.

but i had a voodoo modded mig 100 and it was pretty rockin. they do neat & clean work.

I was gonna send my 530 in for modding, but it cost as much as the goddamn preamp new, so I decided against it.

Send it in if you like the general voicing of the amp but wish it had a few different things. If you plain just DONT like your amp, dont bother. Except to pay around $3-400 AT LEAST for like minor stuff.

In the end my preamp is still really good and hell if i need more balls i have an EQ.

I played a voodoo modded ada mp-1 and it sounded tits.Sounds like a much more expensive pre,and for the price they go for second hand these days it isnt too expensive to get done.
