I know there are positive, and very negative opinions on these guys. Just about everyone say they are clones of CoB. I love the old CoB, so i really have NO problem what-so-ever with listening to similar music. I just think its wrong to put so much emphasis on who the major influences of a band are. Really, thats how we work as musicians. We are pretty much all influenced by something or someone. Ive read a bunch of negative reviews on Imperanon, and i dont think it should be this way. They are good musicians, and very professional. Im not saying everyone should like it, but if you like this style, you shouldnt shrug them off because of their similarities to CoB. You may disagree with me, but think about how many bands have been influenced by other bands. I dont think they are quite a "clone", but definately similar. I must also add that i am so fucking in love with the song Shadowsouls. This is no joke, when i first got their album i listened to Shadowsouls on repeat for 2 hours straight. Those female vocals just rocked my world. in fact that was two days ago, and im listening to it right now. anyway, lets hear opinions, bad or good.
