Pretty mature... much better than the usual fare here. I'm trying to hear the tune and it's not working... what's the structure?

I wrote it kinda with Strapping Young Lad's "Room 429" in my head, if that's any help. There'd have to be a different rhyth for the chorus than the verses, and the speed'll be either fast or slow, not imbetween. Maybe something incorporating both, I'm not sure yet - haven't got a tune to go with it. Yet.

i really cant find the Strapping Young Lad element. i think more of Nevermore with the vocal style and maybe Dream Theatre's style music cranked up a notch, maybe even Theatre of Tragedy or Orphanage style.

Morbid Death, have you ever heard Room 429? Just wondering, it's kinda..un-Strapping Young Lad-ish. I can see where you're coming from with the lyrics, though.
