explanation
I"m new and im need some explanation. I read for active and passive pickups. pls some1 to give me some explanation what is passive and what acctive.
And what kind a pickups are on my guitar ?

The pickups on your guitar are passive. Active pickups have a battery attatched to them which give them more gain.

My suggestion:
Play that guitar until your heart is content, without making any changes.
In a few years, when you feel you've progressed, get a new guitar and do some research on pickups and then select some that fit you.
No amount of guitar, hardware, hardware knowledge, etc... is going to make you a better player other than practicing your ass off.

Passive is just the pickup picking up the vibrations from the string, going through all them fancy electronics in your guitar, through the cable and then into the amp.

Active pickups have a higher output,require batteries as a source of power.Passive pickups dont amplify the signal.
