Hey I have had this "Three Hours of Power 97" Compilation disc for like ages and ages and ages right, so anyway I decided to give it a listen because it brings back a hell of a lot of memories. Anyway there are a hell of a lot of wicked arsed Aussie metal bands on this motherfucker!!

Some of the highlights were:

Mortality [Australian old school death metal with groove, great stuff!]
Henry's Anger [Wierd arsed rock/death stuff]
In:Extremis [Groovy industrial Grind/Hardcore]
Beanflipper [FUCKING strange blackdeathgrindhardcore fucked up shit, awesome!]
Crypt [Brutal Death/Grind]
Misery [Death/Doom with coolness ]

Anyway I just wanted to know what happened to some of these bands and if you have heard of them and if you are into them rada rada rada... You know? Just some info and shit. Anyway, I seriously suggest anyone into some pretty original check this shit out. This is a great record and the tracks from these bands that are on it are killer!


If I'm right this record also got me into death metal!

I think Crypt split up, but I don't know about any of the others.
