axis pedals, can i change a righty to a lefty?
i'm new to drumming, and i've bought a pair of Axis Longboard X-L2 double kick pedals, they're for right handed people and i haven't seen any longboards for lefties...there's this axis conversion kit, and it's used to take any axis pedals basically and make them into doubles, does this mean you could make right handed pedals into left handed ones? or could i just already do that with what i have by breaking the pedal down and re assembling it? i'm wanting to do this for my band actually, because my drummer is a lefty, and though i'm new to taking up the drums, i'm a righty. any helpful answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

yeah you can change a left to a right, it is just a bit time consuming! so do you have 2 single kicks or a double pedal?
if the later then you can can do it, you just need to play around with a few things, it takes time but it can be done.
if you have 2 single kicks, then all you need is 2 bass drums and hey presto no problem!!

okay I am pretty sure you can do it in that case, if I remeber it was fairly simple. IO think, memory a little hazey at the mo.
