2 Head's into 1 Cab
What would be the best way to run 2 tube amp heads into 1 cab? I've seen the tonebone switcher but was wondering if there was a better way.

Hm, that is a big problem... An A/B/Y switch to go into the two heads would be the first thing you'd have to do. I'd imagine you'd have to have another one with a line out from the head, into one part of the 2nd A/B/Y, and have both heads plugged in like that, with the Y going out to the cab.
Thats really all that I can imagine you'd be able to do with that, but we'll see what everyone else has to say.

You can't do:
Code:
head 1
guitar < > cab
head 2
with 2 ABY's, because you will fry the output transformers on the amps because at some point, they'll have no load on them. You could get a stereo cab, and connect one amp to the left side, and the other to the right- and ABY the guitar to the amp inputs. You can get switches to do what you want, but they are really expensive.
Hope that provides some help

This is what I was talkin about,
www.tonebone.com/tbone-headbone-vt.htm
It keeps a load on the amp not in use but am wondering how safe it is. What would happen to a tube amp with no load on it?

Use a stereo cab and a switcher for the guitar.
