Yakuza
A band which has so far escaped thread-ation, I'm not sure how. They have two releases, 2000 and a one-off on Century Media in 2001. It's experimental/jazz/metal stuff, like DEP with less face-raping and a strong hardcore influence.
To me, they're amongst the very small amount of proof that new-ish metalcore bands don't HAVE to be tremendously shit.
Check their stuff out on Myspace. Three tracks available online, and an album due for release in a month or two.

Hey, not bad. Don't really like the vocals though; he sounds weak in some parts.

Sounds like earthtone 9 with metalcore vocals.....though, sounds like it'd be decent live.

I actually like the vocals, they're just 'different' but on the other hand they're borderlining to 'not very good' haha.
I they have their own charme, at least it sounds a tad original
