If you buy an multi effect like the boss gt-8 or gt-6 you may want to read the manual before you use it. The possibilities are endless and you can tweak the hell out of them. And you have all the effects you need and more. If you're more a guy who just wants a chorus effect and a flanger for example buying an multi effect is kinda useless. But if you like all the effects and want to fuck around with them and like some different distortions a multi effect is the way to go

But,if you buy a multi-effect,you lose the versatality of different single effects.Multi-effects, like say the Digitech GNX series, come with extra's like recording, ect.

The GT-8 is awesome if you like using a large variety of sounds. You can create realistic keyboard and synthetic sounds with the GT-8. A lot of people say that you have to read the manual of it two times at least so to know how to use it properly. It isn't that complicated and I learnt to use it without a manual. It just has a lot of editing function of the patches you use or create. If you want something less complex the Zoom 707II also is very good.

Try it out first,it might not be your sound, and it works different on different amps. There are better Overdrives than the ZW anyway IMO.Try Maxon or Tubes-screamers.(originally made by maxon anyway).

600 pedals at 50$ each = $30,000.

ANY guitar effects processor = under $30,000

Hahaha! Your god fails you again!

Exactly ... some Danelectros in America go for around 50$. So imagine if you had bought 600 Australian pedals.

Second hand, they would be around there. Also Tubescreamers are pretty cheap. If not, check out vintage/second hand guitar shops for older, unique overdrive pedals.

analog pedals sound better. so buy 600 analog ones and be a tapdancing guitarist.
