How would a Mesa Boogie power amp and line 6 pod xt live sound together? having the tube poweramp, would that give me the tube sound?

The pod xp pro,with a decent midi foot-controller would be better.

If your going to dish out cash like that for a power amp, you might as well look around for a good tube preamp to go with it.

I have a 2-90 and a pod xtl and it aint a bad setup at all. The xtl and the pro are the same damn thing sound and effect wise, plus you dont have to buy a seperate controler for it. In my opinion its the best way to run a pod (into a tube poweramp that is). Thats why atomic came out with that little tube combo for digital modelers. I'm just wondering if it would be better through the recto poweramp, I think it would for higher gain stuff. I'm thinkin of gettin one.

that's one option. but i've heard amazing sounds come from pod xt's and tube poweramps. the flexibility is insane.

i don't normally say this about digital stuff... but the pod xt's are great in my book.
