Tabbing softwear
I remember downloading this program that allows you to make text tabs. I don't remember the name of it or where I found it. Could someone help me out on this? Thanks.

Hey dude! Thanks for the corrections on that Suffocation tab. The program that used was powertab, there is a link in my signature

No no. It wasn't powertab. It was a program that allowed you to creat text tabs only. Like the old fashioned tabs. l-------5-6-7-8-----l

Dunno dude but I can tell you one thing...you may download Guitar Pro which is in my opinion the best TAB soft ever (Guitar pro 5 is out now)
Or if you hate yourself and have maochistic thoughts on your mind you can download PowerTAB (Dont do it man! do yourself a favor and dont do it)
I dont think you could find better than this

Guitar Pro VS Powertab
ha,ha,ha... I agree dude, powertab is a shit! Guitar Pro is the best. But if you need to export to text mode use powertab... it exports all tracks... GP only export one track per file (but it's definitely the best).

Yeah i agree i can actually use guitar pro i only use powertab for reading tabs of songs i want to learn that aren't in plain text.

I like powertab much more than guitarpro, don't hate myself, and I don't have masochistic thoughts on my mind either.

hahahhaa, yeah, but i've come to appreciate both. and recently i've taken a liking to guitar pro...seems to be much less of a pain to use...plus having drums is a major bonus...
