Decent Pickups Setup?

Gonaa buy some Swineshead soon.

Xbucker - Bridge
Spotlight - Mid
Warthog - Neck

I like Metallica and Slayer. Is this a good setup? Or should I rearrange their positions?

I have Squier btw, so you can see why I want to change the pickups

Yes they do. Kirk uses EMG 81/81 and James uses EMG 81/60. Both guys from Slayer use EMG 81/85.

Those pickups are worth more than the fucking guitar.

Lol, but it's better to have a custom guitar imo. It makes it more unique :P

I would of got some EMG's but they are a bit pricey imo.

Btw, http://www.swinesheadpickups.co.uk/xbucker.shtml. Sounds good?

not really... it's a waste of nice pickups because squire's are poorly built, poorly set up, shitty harware, ect... you might as well buy a good guitar and then change pickups if you need a different sound.

for the cost of those pickups and what you could sell that shitty guitar for... you could buy a good guitar off ebay.
