ESP sv and ESP mh-1000

I searched the web for ESP sv, like Alexi Laiho, but only on the japaneese website of ESP. but do they sell in stores in Canada?
and I want to play again with a new guitar things like COB. I saw the MH-1000 and I like it pretty much, but is it very different from the sv? sorry if its too vague

Alexi's models are RV not sv. The MH1000 is really different than the RVs! its not made from the same material, it has different pickups and bridge and also its an LTD. Still the MH1000 is a really good guitar and much cheaper than alexi's signature model

Take it from me , I have ESP eclipse , and LTD MH-1000 , The MH is a frickin great guitar with 81/85 , its under a k and it plays and sounds bad ass , its almost like the Hanneman model.
The Laiho model is only available in japan and will cost you a nut to try and get so forget it unless your fifthy rich get the MH, you wont be sorry

Does your Eclipse have EMG 81/60 pickup combo?
If so how does the 60 compare soundwise to the 85? I mean which is better overall to play heavy death metal AND cleaner chords like in classic rock (I guess I'm looking for versatility)? I was just wondering because I'm still undecided as to which neck PU I wanna get in my guitar (I played an Eclipse with 81/60...couldn't find any with 81/85). Thanks for the info.

It has 81/60s (Eclipse)
but its easy to replace the 60 with a 85 .Theyre both cool.my MH 1000 has 85s in the bridge. Hettfield uses the 81/60s Hannemann and Zakk use the 81/85
I really like both combos. I have 81/81 also in one of my axes.
