Guess the wood

I have a nice copy of a music man axis. Just droped a nice JB and it sounds awesome, great sustain , lots of balls...
Now the problem: there is no sign of a brand , no serial number and not even a contry of origin. How can I find out the wood that is made of ? What clue should I search ? Except for the fact that guitar is quite heavy i have no starting point.
If you have any ideeas please help me out ...

Well mahogany is a heavier wood. You might wanna start there

My guitar is made of mahogany. I don't know if this is the kinda help you are looking for.

Try taking a plate off (the plates that cover the electronics or tremelo springs) and see if theres any bare wood inside of there. and then tell us what you find (if anything). If your just hellbent on finding out what wood this is and you cant find any exposed wood, you could scrape some paint off inside of the body cavity.

I don't think it's an OLP. The headstok doesn't seem to be repainted and it has no brand stampted on it .

The thing has some holes dilled for the screws and the pickup routing and the colour seems to be a very light brown.

That looks like some kind of tree-wood.Try burning it to confirm this.

looks like it has a flamed maple top
EDIT do or could you mkake a pictures of the back of the guitar?? cuz it lok like maple on the top, but that could just be the top only and not the erst of the body.
