I already have a left-handed gibson faded flying V which is very great but I'd like to add another metal-playing axe to my arsenal, one that has a wammy bar. Right now I'm looking at the Jackson Dk2, because it seems to be the only good left handed guitar in that price range that has a wammy bar and humbuckers. Is this a good choice, or are there other left handed axes that fit this criteria that might be better?

i have a jackson dxmg which is similar to the dk2, it's a good guitar, you should also look at some ibanez, schecters or ESPs i don't know if they have left handed models though

Yeah I was checking out Ibanezes as well, but the only lefties they have are a $700 one, which is more than I wanna spend, and a noob guitar that my friend has and doesn't really like. Schecter is a great company but none of their lefties have wammy bars. The only left handed ESP guitar I could find that has a tremolo and is in my favored price range is the Kirk Hammett signature one, and I don't really wanna get that cause I'm not a Metallica fan and I don't really like signature equipment.

The Jackson DXMG definitly does seem like a nice guitar. But unfortunately the only one they make left handed is the DK2.

Go with the dk2. Jackson is a respectable metal brand of guitar, and the dk2 hosts some decent features for the dough, one being a left-handed guitar. You can't go wrong.
