The Promise
Hatred rising in me,
In a instant you are bleeding,
A body lay before me,
Not breathing, seeing, hearing,
All lost with a non existent regret,
Then a moment to reflect,
Aspect that a life is lost before me.
And a body no longer adorning.
And no realisation hit me,
Til the morning I should see.
With no hatred in my eyes,
And shown my way to fearing,
To see a loved one die before me,
Standing brave and ready,
Now dead and buried,
The tremors never steadied,
And never fulfilled the promise I had made,
Teary eyed and weary,
And now succumb to fearing,
Never again your voice will be heard,
But in the halls of my head.
My dreams now buried in the dirt,
Nothing I cared for more,
And standing here pretending,
As if I care for nothing.
And never fulfilled the promise that I had.

I am not really sure of that "I" in the beginning of the third line, but it might be lack of language knowledge.
Oh, and "Existant" to "ExistEnt" in the last line of the first verse.
I am a little uncertain as to the main character; seeing as he or she first kill in anger and then remember that it actually was a friend that stood there.
Now, I am about to give on the better types of oppinions - in the author's point of view - on this: It felt personal. Not private, but personal.
On a technical level - one quickly understands the basic chain of events and yet it leaves plenty of room for thought about what has really transpired here. So congrats - you managed to rise the interest to the point where one wonder why it happened and what the promise might be. All in all a good piece.

I started to read this earlier and wasn't awake enough at all. I thought the third part was the strongest of them all followed by the second and first in that order. It wasn't bad at all though.
