Noise gates, noise suppressors, etc.

Okay, I just got one of the new ENGL Powerballs a couple weeks ago and it rules. Only problem is that I'm getting mega feedback. (Which is expected with all the gain, treble, etc I have turned up) The built in noise gate it pretty good, but I have a feeling I need to get a better one. (I have it turned up all the way right now, and it's killing most of the feedback, but not all, and like when I go to do a slow palm muted kinda riff, it's cutting me off and shit) I don't have any experience with any noise gates or anything, (Infact, i'm a big gear noob) so any recommendations would rule. Sorry for the rambiling and thanks in advance.

with the powerball i run my boss ns-2 in front, and then use the powerball's noisegate(it's an in loop type).

works great...

i run my isp decimator with my splawn.

i run my hush super C in my PA

and i turn the shitty hush in the intelliverb OFF.

hmm....maybe. i want it, but thinking about it i dont really need it. my splawn is relatively quiet. sure it feeds back when i walk too close with it cranked but thats whats supposed to happen. theres no hummng or hissing with the gain all the way up so. ill pass. maybe if you still have it in a while ill think about it.
