sounds interesting, id like to hear some clips or sumtin,
pretty cool its got a powertube aswell, will it make a nice kranked tube sound though?? i dunno if 1 powertube will do the trick, im a tubenoob so

Oh it will do that and It will do it on less volume than say an amp with 2/4 6l6/EL34 tubes in the poweramp.

Surely you're not gonna get anything that good out of it because theres only 1 preamp tube. A lot of amps have 4-6 gain stages that gives you a lot of the distortion. Theres no cascading from tube-tube in the Ibanez, so i'd think that you'd only get light tones out of it, no matter how loud you put it at?

Well, at least you'll have powertube saturation at lower levels.
I wonder how much it'll cost? Might be a great amp if it's not too expensive.

sure that powertube distortion is great
its the best, but without the other gain it just sounds like beefy but not that much distortion. you need the pre-gain stages to fuzzy distort it then the poweramp to chunky distort it. i think itd do alright. drive it hard enough tna dcrank it enough. it might even be too loud for what ppl are sayin. you cant get that cranked sound at late at night apartment levels even if its just one power tube.
