i havent seen the vid yet, but my guitar teacher can slap like a fucking maniac, he slaps lots of cool funky shit on a guitar, verry impressive, wonder what the vid wil show me

Nah, but that technique seems pretty useful though. Would be fun to do a whole song with, say, slap-style guitars, normal bass playing and so on. Not just that battle-thing, but a real song.

yeah when i had my ltd i would put some seriouse huge string on that and id slap the hell out of the bottom strings becouse the only way i can do a harmon pince on teh fat strings is ( i think its called touch harmonics and i never used a pick when i started i used my index fingernail) and to make the harmonic i plucked like a bass with my my middle finger and barley touched it with my index and theres a good ol harmonic
becouse i never used a pic back then i would slap so i could get to my harmonic thing faster
