Question Edge Pro II fine tuners problem

I picked up a Ibanez RGT42DXFMTLF http://www.ibanez.com/guitars/guita...model=RGT42DXFM about 3 months ago. I'm loving it so far but I've found one problem I'm not sure how to fix. The G string fine tuner on the trem doesnt want to get any lower than the halfway point. The other tuners work fine 1 or 2 are a little stiff to turn while others are a breeze but this one in particular wont tighten beyond the halfway point at all. I put a little 3 in 1 oil on the parts when I changed strings last month but no difference. So anyone have any advice? Google didnt help at all and I couldnt find anything specific to the Edge Pro II on the forum search here.

Thanks in advance.

Why dont you just tune it very accurate with the tuenrs and then lock it down. You wont need to make such "big" adjustments with the fine tuners

PS: kick ass guitar

you can also replace the fine tuner screw. Maybe that works

get a schematic of the trem, take it apart , clean it up and soak it in some wd40 spray, dry it , then put it back together and the trem should be just like new. If this all fails buy a new fine tuner and saddle perhaps.

I do, daily actually, but I use the trem a lot during solo practicing and everything is thrown sharp or flat a little after a few hours of practice so I'm always adjusting the fine tuners just a little throughout the day. Then eventually the G tuner gets to the point where I have to loosen the lock down bolts to get it back to proper pitch while the others still have plenty of play in them.
