Shh sound
When I play my Roland Cube 60 the notes seem pretty clear to me. The clean channel, Black Panel, and Acoustic channel are all clean channels and the notes seem very clear but there is a little bit of a shhh sound in the background not relating to the notes. It has the shh background sound in the Acoustic setting the most. The shh sound is even also a little bit when all the volumes knobs are turned to zero. My question is, is the shh sound normal and is it in all amps? The shh sound is very minimal when using a pedal or distortion of the amp. Is that because the distortion has loud sounds?
Thank You

all the amps I had were never completely quiet. So I guess it's a normal thing. As long as it doens't bother or gets too loud it's totally normal i guess

i think thats probably feedback, and it is very common. You can try to reduce it further depending on the pickup you use

might be your guitars grounding, might be the grounding of your amps power supply, might be the other appliances you have plugged in, might be your computer or tv set. Either way, it's pretty common.

anything that gives off a frequency or radio signal will do that. TV, comp monitor, remote control, fluorescent lights, incandescent bulbs (slightly), stereo, dirty connectors, dirty control knobs (pots) on your amp, the list never ends.
