Dunlop vs Ibanez
I am currently looking into getting a wah pedal and I have narrowed it down to two: Dunlop Dime Crybaby From Hell or Ibanez Weeping Demon.
I can't seem to decide between these two. What would be your decision and why?

dunlop rules
the dime wah is the best Ive used ,In my opinion it has the best sweep , Ive used a bad horsie , A zakk and a regular Cry baby and a Vox and a Fulltone cylde deluxe , The dime has controls which allow you to dial your own tone. But like everything else its subjective , you got to try em yourself.

Dunlop Crybabies have had 'Q' controls ( the knob on the Dime wah ) for years now ... from what I can tell, the Dime wah is a Q control wah with a skid of skateboard tape. And an extra 50$.

Does the Dime CFH have "auto-off", where once you take your foot off the pedal it shuts off? The Weeping Demon has it, but does that really make much of a difference in terms of playability?

Im pretty sure you have to 'stomp',to turn off dime wahs. And does it make much of a difference??Depends what you prefer. With the weeping demon you cant leave it on a certain postition,as it will turn off.Whereas you would be able to on the crybaby, but you also have to do an extra 'stomp' to turn it off.Whatever suits you really.

I was reading a review for the CFH and the person said that when you stomp it to shut it off, it makes a high pitched squeal. While I do understand why it does this, is that really a problem when playing a song? Like, does it really sound as bad as that reviewer says?
Another question...do any of you guys know if either the Crybaby From Hell or Weeping Demon can act as a signal booster? I'm pretty sure that the CFH does (it has a boost switch), but how about the Weeping Demon? I'm just curious b/c I want to be able to play lead and even rhythm section that are pulsating with energy and power, especially leads that scream and wail.

i reccomoent the dunlop. i have the ibanez, i thought it was really cool, and it does have really cool features. q-control, fine tune nob, true bypass. it also has two modes. on one you push a on button to turn it on and you cqan put the pedal wher you want to start it at. this is kinda cool because with other wahs you have to start at the top. ive used this to change my sound a little. find a frequency you like then turn it off. when you get to that part step on the on button ands it that neat tone. the other mode is simply start on the now spring loaded pedal and wah all you want and let it come back to rest when your done and it will turn off in a certain amount of adjustable seconds. this its all really cool. but...
it sounds like shit! i cant get a usable wah sound out of it. so all of that cool stuff is voided. i cant get a damn acctual wah sound. just weird frequency changes and and neat feedback. play both of em. if you get it from gc you can bring it back in 30 days. i sure wish i woulda done that. thats 100 bucks out the door. if you make a decision and end up liking the ibanez, though, ill give you a pretty good deal on mine.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'm gonna go with the Dunlop CFH. It seems to be more tweakable and better sounding than the Ibanez.
