I've bought my ex gf who is now my gf again lots of cool shit, from music dvds to metal cds. She likes the older heavy metal(among other genres), Metallica, Slayer, Pantera...but I have not yet fully converted her to death metal.

Hey, I don't just like jewelry. I like shiny. I used an American Racing hub cover for a flower vase for years because it was bright chrome. Denny bought me a new vcr/dvd player and when I took it out of the box the first thing I said was --ooo shiny. It was polished silver and chrome colored. Ask wally. If it's shiny I'll like it.

I had done that before even if i just got a card for him after we agreed not to get each other anything. That didn't happen too often, but I don't do that anymore. It's not fair to the other person and makes them feel awkward or disappointed. Maybe at some random time for no reason I'll get him something, but he gets me flowers or something special once in awhile for no reason. That's completely different though.
