Blown Speakers
Out of curiosity has anyone here blown their amp speakers and how? What happens when it does? Does it have an explosion sound and sparks come or does it all of a sudden become muted? I don't intend in trying to see the outcome of it myself that is why I'm asking.

I tore one of the speaker cones in my old Crate amp. It just went all of a sudden and everything I played sounded like elephants farting on plastic chairs!
I also blew a Fender practice amp once at a jam night, there was just a small pop and then silence, I felt bad because it wasn't my amp!

I honestly couldn't tell you, one moment I was playing the next they'd packed up!
