Hell, you're probably related to him.
In other news, Psycroptic are simply brilliant.

I was really pissed off that I missed Psycroptic after finding out that they were on before that shitty black metal band.
They played Alpha Breed at the Hate Eternal gig too. I know because I've got the setlist. They also played another new song, Epoch or something.
Ahh, Epoch Of The Gods

To borrow Jarrod's colloquial tongue for a brief moment - these guys are fuckin' ripper! Can't wait for the new album. So, Jarrod, how long do I have to wait before the digipak is released?

Sounds good. I like the old vocalist more though, he sounds like he had more range. The artwork looks bitchin', too.

Their old vocalist is part of what set them apart from other tech bands. Now they aren't so different.

Indeed. Matt Chalk was what made Psycroptic just that one step ahead of almost every other tech death / grind band.

Well, on the last 2 albums that was a factor aswell (especially The Isle), but they've appeared to ditch that too. I'm not saying it's bad music, but Psycroptic were on of those bands that used to be instantly recognisable, and aren't anymore.

Personally I think this is wicked. This track didn't catch my attention as much as 'the colour of sleep' did but I think this album will be choc full of riffy goodness and killer beats. As for the vocals, I was quite suprised. I think jason is doing a fine job and also I can hear a similarity in styles between him and matt. I reckon he's incorporated or emulated (in his own way) some of matt's range aswell as bringing a couple of differences. Can't wait for it!

Uh, the album has only just been mastered.. which means, the band doesn't even have a copy of the completed album yet. It won't be leaked for a little while yet.

Usually you can get a few songs off thier site but that page is under construction at the moment. So just send them a mail order and within a short time you'll have both albums for killer price.
You could try searching morpheus or whatever, may I suggest the tracks 'Condemned by Discontent', 'The colour of sleep' or 'The valley of winds breath and dragons fire'. These albums are a must have if your into tech death. They're totally worth buying even if you haven't heard em
I don't think the newy is gonna leak. Even if it does, I'll wait it out till february.

hahaha, really? If it has leaked, it was someone from Neurotic Records that leaked it. No promos have been sent out and the band doesn't even have it yet. The mastering process apparently didn't go too well, so that is being done again.
Check it out, probably a hoax.

Hmmm....... maybe. Maybe not. Either way I'm gonna be having a crack at it! I just did a fairly mammoth Lykathea Aflame tab though, so I'm kind of drained.
