almost all bands that use them are endorsed, in other words, they're paid to play icky guitars, either that, or they have USA models.

the thing with BCR is they are really hit or miss... and most of the time its a miss. Sure you can get a decent feeling one here and there, but its very rare that you will find one. Yeah their USA models are good... but whats the minimum price on those suckers... maybe 2k new? Not even worth it when you can stroll into a store and buy a great ibanez, decent jackson, a decent ESP, or even some gibsons for 900 and under. BC riches are pretty overpriced for their construction, wood and pickup quality.

If you actually go to a guitar shop blindfolded and play a bunch of guitars, you will find that the guitar that feels the best in your hands will NOT be a bc rich.

Hmm .... somehow you knew this topic will NEVER end well for you, yet you posted it anyway. Before you hit the "submit thread" button, you thought about how many flames its going to draw, yet, somehow you went through with it anway. WHY?

Well, the body shapes are nice because Bernie Rico was a genius who built incredible guitars. A handmade B.C. Rich guitar from the 80's is THE SHIT. When he died, he was no longer around to exercise his own brand of quality control.

All of the endorsed artists you see play a 2,000$ handmade model designed just for them. There are downgraded versions costing 300$ for the masses, and with every Bronze Warlock that rolls off of the line, Bernie probably turns in his grave.

Bernie Rico was greatness. The people in his place now are hacks, riding the coattails of his brilliance.
